Killing animals for the fur...not for me thankyou

I agree--the fur looks better on the animal that it ever will on a person. I will say, though, that I've watched a few people - avid artists interested in anatomy and biology - who would pick up roadkilled animals and keep and study their skulls and bones, or taxidermy them, or keep their pelts. Not something I would do, and I find taxidermy a little morbid and weird (it's a dead animal, you know nothing about its personality or its life, and you're just going to stuff it and use it to decorate your house? seems a little disrespectful...) but I don't have a problem with people who do that. There are also those who hunt (which, if you eat meat, is the most respectful way to acquire it), and make sure that none of the animal goes to waste. I really hope that pelt did not come from either a fur farm or an animal hunted just to wear its skin, because that's a disgusting thing to do, but there are some decently-acquired animal parts on DA. I hope it was one of those.
